Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS) responded to a wastewater overflow on April 11, 2025 at 9830 Howells Ferry Rd. Approximately 600 gallons of wastewater overflowed as a result of a break on a low-pressure force main. All of the wastewater was contained and did not reach state waters. MAWSS crews repaired the force main and have taken the necessary steps to prevent future overflows at this location.
