Director of Field Operations and Logistics
Calressia Clark, P.E., is the Director of Field Operations and Logistics at Mobile Area Water & Sewer System, where she has devoted much of her time to mitigating sanitary sewer overflows and rehabbing the sewer collection system. She has extensive experience in analyzing the data of sewer evaluation studies. Her career with MAWSS began in 2007 as an Engineer I and has continuously grown while serving as Engineer II, Engineer III, and Water and Sewer Engineer Manager. Her current duties involve directing activities of the Field Investigation, Video Investigation, Water and Sewer Repair and Installations, Easement Maintenance, Right of Way Maintenance, Sewer Cycle Cleaning, Customer Response, and Fleet Management departments.
Of late, her primary focus has been upgrading the water distribution and sewer collection system infrastructure to prevent line failures. The highlight of her career has been working with people to "Keep Water Working" while protecting the environment and public health.
She is a graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School, The University of Alabama at Birmingham (Bachelor of Civil Engineering), and Auburn University at Montgomery (Masters of Business Administration). Clark earned her Professional Engineer License in 2012.
When not working, she enjoys relaxing outdoors, Florida Gator football, traveling with her family, and playing classical piano.
