Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS) responded to a wastewater overflow on February 20, 2025 at 2450 Karagan Dr (Easement in Woods). Approximately 3,900 gallons of wastewater overflowed into Eslava Creek due to a grease blockage. MAWSS crews have cleared the blockage and are taking steps to prevent further overflows at this location.
Grease blockages occur when foods containing fats, oil or grease are put down the drain. MAWSS provides free containers for grease recycling. To learn more visit www.itseasytobeungreasy.com.
