Wastewater Leak Ongoing 1601 Neshota Dr.
Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS) responded to a wastewater leak on April 17, 2023 from a sewer force main caused by a third party employed by MAWSS, associated with the installation of the Eslava Creek Sewer Force Main Replacement Project at 1601 Neshota Dr.. The wastewater leak is ongoing. Approximately 2.5 million gallons of wastewater have leaked into a tributary to Dog River. A MAWSS contractor is working to stop the leak. Additional information will be provided once the leak has stopped.
